"⭐ 1/5 — If This Is “Mughlai,” Then I’ve Been Eating the Wrong Food My Whole Life Visited Oudh 1590, Delhi this Sunday, and wow… what an experience. Apparently, they claim to be a Mughlai restaurant — which is adorable, because absolutely nothing on the table tasted even remotely Mughlai. I ordered the Awadhi Mutton Handi Biryani, expecting rich flavours. What I got instead was… sweet biryani with potatoes. Yes, potatoes. In “Awadhi” biryani. Truly revolutionary — and by revolutionary, I mean completely wrong. To top it off, the raita was also sweet, because clearly someone in the kitchen believes every dish in life should taste like dessert. When I asked the manager, he confidently said, “Awadhi biryani aisi hi hoti hai.” Wow. Didn’t know gaslighting came as a free side dish here. The Galouti Kebabs? Let’s just say they were neither “galouti” nor “kebab” — just a confused lump loaded with garam masala and zero actual flavour. The only saving grace was the server, who was sweet (ironically, unlike the food… oh wait, everything was sweet). If you’re looking for real Mughlai or Awadhi food, do yourself a favour: go literally anywhere else."

"Yesterday, my husband and I visited this restaurant with high expectations. We even travelled 25 km to try their food. While the staff and service were polite, the food was honestly not even worth 2 stars. We ordered Sugandhi Kebab, Handi Awadhi Gosht Biryani, Chicken Rezala, and Gulab Sharbat. The kebabs were soft, but the salt was on higher side. We mainly came for the biryani, but it was a complete disappointment — almost no flavour in the rice, and the masala didn’t enter the chicken at all. The Chicken Rezala tasted like boiled chicken in watery gravy with no richness, no cashew flavour, nothing. Charging nearly ₹400 for just 2 pieces but giving such poor quality is unacceptable. Except for the good behaviour of the staff, nothing else was up to the mark. Very disappointed with the overall experience."

"Good Biriyani at decent price. Ambience is good. Different varieties of tasty biriyani and sides. They serve on brass plates which gives a premium feel. Service is also good. Restaurant is on 1st floor and has iron stairs, so not accessible for physically handicapped people."

"We ordered kakori kabab which was actually had full of garam masala and garlic Lack of mutton keema in it nor roasted properly. In main course khade masale ka gosht which was not at all tasting khade masale ka mutton , Instead of that posto, tomato and kaju paste were added to make its gravy thick. Strangely Naan was looking and tasting like khameeri roti. I’m not sure whether they are presenting the restaurant as Awadhi cuisine or punjabi food Coz Awadhi/lucknowi food is completely different from what they are cooking and selling. Service is quite slow too. My experience with ur Chow man restaurant is very nice so I expected same with this but I’m disappointed Only thing about food is mutton was cooked well and tender and Infra and internal ambiance is also good"

"I recently ordered from Oudh 1590, Noida Sector 18 through Swiggy, and I must say the experience was excellent from start to finish. Being a fan of authentic Kolkata-style food, I was really excited to try their offerings, and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Kolkata Style Gosht Biryani, which came along with Murg Zafrani Kebab and Murg Bhuna. The biryani was absolutely delicious — the rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and flavorful, with the right balance of spices that reminded me of traditional Kolkata biryani. The mutton was tender and juicy, blending beautifully with the rice. The Murg Zafrani Kebab was soft, well-marinated, and had a rich flavor, while the Murg Bhuna had just the right amount of spice and went perfectly with the biryani. I also ordered the Veg Biryani, which was equally well-prepared and had a nice mix of vegetables, making it a good option for vegetarians. To end the meal, I had their Phirni, which was smooth, creamy, and had the authentic taste of traditional Kolkata-style desserts. The overall experience was satisfying. The packaging was neat, the portions were generous, and the food arrived warm and fresh. In my opinion, Oudh 1590 truly delivers on its promise of authentic Kolkata-style flavors. If you are in Noida and craving proper Kolkata-style biryani and kebabs, this place is definitely worth trying. I would highly recommend it for both non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes."
